*********JUNE********* 1950s

The 1950s were a golden age of music: country, jazz, swing, folk, blues, pop, and the beginnings of rock. Sing along with Mark and his guitar to these golden oldies:

Bye Bye Love, Not Fade Away-Peggy Sue-That’ll be the Day-Oh Boy, Rock Around the Clock, Stand by Me, Johnny B. Goode, I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, Hound Dog, Summertime Blues, La Bamba, Folsom Prison Blues

Mark entertains and informs with accompanying videos (including the song lyrics), historical storytelling, and audience participation. Your group will love the interaction, memories, and great music.

A former history teacher at Oak Ridge High School and an elementary reading specialist, Mark performs at venues throughout Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, and Amador counties. Email Mark at mark@penningtonpublishing.com with your contact information to schedule a memorable performance during June. Mark's initial performance is always free of charge.
