March: Irish Ballads and Shanties
March means hills turning green, the beginning of spring, and St. Patrick's Day... the day when everyone is a wee bit Irish. The Irish have contributed so much to our American culture, especially through their music. Join Mark and his guitar to sing (and cry) along with these Irish ballads and sea shanties:
When Irish Eyes are Smiling, Be Thou My Vision, Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral, Danny Boy, Molly Malone, Danny Boy, Blow the Man Down, Drunken Sailor, and more!
Mark entertains and informs with historical storytelling, humor, and audience participation. Your group will love the interaction, memories, and great music. Ah, 'tis good to be Irish!
