Teaching Grammar, Usage, and Mechanics Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8
Teaching Grammar, Usage, and Mechanics Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are separate, full-year programs with plenty of remedial practice to help your students catch up while they keep up with grade-level standards. The interactive Google slides or print resources feature 56, twice-per-week, 25-minute, no prep grammar, usage, and mechanics lessons--all with an engaging secret agent theme.
Each lesson includes both a mechanics and grammar/usage focus with concise explanation, examples, guided practice, independent practice, and sentence dictations. The grammar and usage lessons also feature simple fill-in-the-blank sentence diagrams, mentor texts, and writing applications.
Biweekly tests in Google self-correcting Google forms or print and a final exam.
Plus, remedial independent practice worksheets (each with a formative assessment) target skill deficits determined by the diagnostic assessments.
